My husband had James Earl Jones reading the bible aloud on his iPhone during a prayer at church. I look over and him and the 4-year-old are a giggling mess while he tries to turn it off. Nothing like having an extra kid!

Interesting thoughts on your "Mommy Wars" post; it's the second one I've read this week on that topic, and they always get me thinking. I work, and I don't think I could be at a SAHM, for the same reasons why you wanted your kids to go back to school-- it's tiring! At least when I'm at work, I have time to start and finish tasks, and heck, I get paid for it! It's not always peachy keen, and there's a lot of time when I wish I was home with my daughter, but I know I wouldn't be entirely fulfilled personally doing so. I do have a problem, however, when moms who stay at home make it sound like working moms "choose" not to spend time with their kids. No, I MUST work to help support my family; we'd be out on the streets if I quit my job. I think it's just that the two worlds don't always stand each other's motivations for what we do and why!
