So, remember when I was religiously following Weight Watchers and I dropped 32 pounds? Yeah, well, summer happened which included vacations, cocktails by the pool, eating out at the ballgames and on the boardwalk and well, I gained about 5 back.
Yes, I know 5 pounds isn't so bad. However, as we all know, if we don't catch those first 5 they easily turn into 10, 15, 20 and more! And since my pants aren't buttoning so easily this past week or so, I think it is definitely a sign I need to stop those 5 pounds in their tracks.
Now that the kids are back in school and we will hopefully be settling into a routine, I need to hop back on that wagon! Time to find those healthy (and easy!) dinner recipes, cutting back on my snacks and forcing myself to eat a sensible lunch instead of shoveling a bunch of shit in my mouth.
Luckily, those 32 pounds came off with little exercise (we all know how much I despise exercise). Portion control really does work ladies! Today I declare I'm climbing back on that wagon and getting back to counting my points.

Good luck! I need to hop back on too. I gained 7 pounds this summer and they need to go! :)
ReplyDeleteI am climbing righ back on with you. I hope this to time to actually make it all the way on the wagon and not just holding on the to edge.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Best of luck! I have never tried a program like that, but being a number fiend and OCD person counting points kind of sounds like fun!

I'm right there with you - I need to drop another few pounds myself - everything is fitting a bit tighter, and I even have a little muffin top creaping back around my mid0section. Lovely.
ReplyDelete32 pounds? good for you! that is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself I need to get back on the wagon myself. I had surgery last summer that helped me put on 20 of the 40 pounds I lost 5 years ago ... that's HALF! I know a lot has to do with the surgery, but more has to do with me blaming the surgery. time to quit making excuses, right?
and thank you for stopping by my blog :)
MEEE TOO! In fact - I am going to make myself some oatmeal right now - breakfast is the key for me and lots of healthy snacks - I won't mention the hershey bliss that I started the morning with tho.
